WE ARE NOT THE BEST CHOICE IF:
- you are interested in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, or Hip Hop.
- you want to compete in regional dance competitions every month or even
every other month.
- you really only want to learn country line dances and country two step,
country waltz and country swing or country cha cha.
So who are we the best choice for? Let us tell you about our students. If you identify with our students we are the best choice for you.
- During the summer months a large percentage of our students are couples
preparing to dance at a summer wedding. Our strength is the ability to take a beginning dancer and get him or her flowing around the room in a natural looking manner in the shortest amount of time. We are so good at this that our competitors hire our students as dance instructors.
- The bulk of our students who are with us year round are between 35 and
70. We have a few students in younger categories between 16 and 25.
- Our students are good at what they do in their careers. Dancing is
something they do for fun and they enjoy having fun. They care about other people. They are sooooooo willing to help beginning dancers progress.
- 46% are married to each other. 23% are in a serious relationship. 31% are
single and looking.
- A small percentage of our students compete in regional dance competitions
once or twice a year. We have grabbed our fair share of top routines and prize money. When they have competed our students have beaten out the big guys who compete on a frequent basis. That little fact hasn't always made us the most popular with our competitors.
- 78% of our students enjoy preforming in dance concerts, festival and
dance demos for charity.
- About the same number enjoy our dance field trips to various ballrooms
and charity dances.
- About half the students take private lessons. The other half prefer to learn
in our group class program. Many do both. Most of our students know a few steps to every one of the 19 dances we teach (Follow the link to the dance directory) and a lot of steps to their favorite dances.
- Our students come from all walks of life: we have a retired truck driver
turned gentleman farmer, a mold maker, 4 high school teachers, two business and life coaches, a CPA, an attorney, two clowns (real ones with hair, nose and giant shoes), a meat cutter, a line man for Comcast, a few factory workers, an editor, some computer gurus, a yoga instructor, a number of sales professionals and lots of other careers that we are not remembering.
- To become one of our students call us at 574-255-7540, register for a class
on our schedule page or purchase a dance package online. To join our mailing list which includes our Newsletters, Dance Tips and Announcements of Up Coming Events click here.
