| Commonly Asked Questions What Kind of lessons do you offer? We have private lessons, group classes, private group classes, workshops and dance parties. Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Flamenco, Ballroom: Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep Latin: Rumba, Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble, Merengue, Bolero, Mambo, Swing: East Coast, West Coast, Lindy Hop, Club Swing, Hustle, Jive Club: Argentine Tango, Salsa, Nightclub Two Step, and Polka We teach Both American and International Styles What should I wear? For most classes and dances come in comfortable clothes that allow you to move. Friday nights people dress up a little more. Wear shoes that will not stick to the floor. Tennis shoes with a lot of tread are not a good choice. We know, because we have been in your shoes, that the hardest step is walking thru the front door for your first class. Everyone here is very friendly, supportive and encouraging. No. We have a mix of single people as well as married couples. We rotate partners so you are never without a partner for very long. You may enter a beginning level class at any point during the month. We have been in business since January of 1997. We have two teaching rooms which feature wood floors. Teachers are required to obtain certification. We use the DVIDA syllabus. Each class is planned around a central idea. We believe the best teaching method is to inspire. We ask for at least 6 hours notice or we must charge you for the missed lesson. What forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, checks, Visa and Mastercard.
