If I miss a week will I lose my money?
No, We mark you absence in the computer and you can make the class up when you are ready.
6:15 to 9:00 is a long time. I am afraid that is too much information for me in one night.
We know it sounds like a long time, but the time goes by very quickly. We split the time up into different segments so it really is fun.
Do I need to register in Advance?
You do not have to register in advance; however, we suggest that you do. Class size is limited to 16 people. If you register in advance we can give you more information regarding the structure of the class.
I have been to some other group classes that lacked structure.
These classes are planned to progress our students rapidly. Instructors have a checklist of information that they prepare class from each night.
How am I going to remember everything?
We review each night. The last half hour of every evening is dedicated to reviewing, polishing and perfecting.
I have been to other dance classes and all I learned is steps. Then I had to relearn how to do those steps with good technique.
As much as is humanly possible these classes are designed to teach you correct technique from day 1. However, in some cases you have to build physical ability before you can execute proper technique. For example you need ankle strength before you can learn advanced Waltz techniques. Building physical ability is part of our program.
