"What Benefits will I receive from learning to dance?" is the question I hear often. The answer is two fold: I) First you have the benefits most associated with dancing which are normally the reasons people begin dancing. A) Ability to dance at a wedding, charity event or bar without making a fool of himself. B) Something she always wanted to learn. C) Great way to meet women. D) More fun than a treadmill. E) Reduce Stress. F) Improves flexibility, coordination, balance and stamina. G) Improves confidence by mastering something outside of her comfort zone. II) Not long after that students learn that dancing is so much more. A) It is challenging B) There is a sense of accomplishment when you have conquered the challenge. C) The ability to dance opens doors to a better way of life and new people. D) Dancing is an outlet for creativity and expression. E) When you get it just right dancing has this magical wonderful feeling that is tough to describe, but once you have experienced the feeling you are hooked. It is a feeling of things flowing perfectly. |
